Disconnect a user from an environment

Patrick Bekkema 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 2 years ago 1

Is it possible to disconnect a user from an environment?

In this example how do i remove Martijn Kuyl from the "Dura Vermeer Lab" so he don't have to choose between the environments he is connected to. To make the user inactive doesn't solve the problem because he still needs register his work in another app.

Ask confirmation when leaving document

Peter van Meijel 2 years ago • updated 2 years ago 3

As an user, I want to be asked to confirm that I want to leave a document with unsaved changes, so that I don't lose information accidentally.

Currently, when the user clicks on Back, enters another URL, or clicks on another menu item, BizzStream opens the new page immediately. The user is not asked to confirm that he wants to leave.

We should ask the user to confirm that he wants to leave:

Use system fields in reference field filter

Peter van Meijel 2 years ago • updated 2 years ago 6

As an administrator, I would like to be able to use system fields in reference field filter so that I can see documents that have a particular status.

Currently, it is possible to filter on fields that are defined by the user in the field definition:.For instance:

{!target.name!} == "Maxedy"
However, the filter

{!target.status!} == "completed"
does not work because status has not been defined by the user:

I would like to add support for the following system fields:

  • _id
  • _lastModifiedByUserId
  • _lastModifiedOn
  • _createdByUserId
  • _createdOn
  • status

Stop user action when a rule fails

Edward Jousma 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 2 years ago 6

As an administrator, I want to ensure that a user action stops when a rule fails so that no incorrect data gets send to external systems.

Examples

Currently, there are many cases in which a single user action contains multiple rules. For instance:

  1. Save the document
  2. Execute a script
  3. Make a REST Call

When the script fails, for whatever reason, the REST call is still executed. This results in incorrect data in an external system.

Likewise, imagine we have the following rules:

  1. Execute REST Call
  2. Execute Script

I do not want to execute the script when the REST call fails.

Logs

When a rule fails, this should be mentioned in the log of the user action: "The user action was not completed because rule 2 (Execute REST call) failed: xxx", where xxx is replaced with more details.

Data in the DB

When a rule fails, a rollback is hardly possible because a script may have changed various documents. So the data in the DB should reflect the changes that the rules made up until a rule fails.

NFM Freesmij: required field validation based on view lay-out

Edward Jousma 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 1 year ago 1

After consultation, we have chosen the three flows in the Freesmij case (rental, project and external) to handle it in one single document Aanvraag.

For each flow, it is necessary that the required fields are filled in. The separation between the different flows is solved by different views. I.c.m. required fields, however, this doesn't work. For the Freesmij case have the control on requiered fields if the field in the client view is present. Not a required field validation on document level.

Bulk delete option

Simon Reumer 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 2 years ago 1

In the general overview of documents, it would be nice to have a bulk delete option. This will make it easier to delete an entire project for example.

Delete documents by "externalId" from multiple document types

Onno de Haan 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 2 years ago 2

When Metacom sends a record to BizzStream, it can be multiplied by BizzStream (scripts). This means that in some cases one Metacom records, resides in more than one BizzStream document. We use "source-copy-target" constructions in our integrations, which basically copies documents.

When a record in Metacom is deleted (for example a workOrder), we would like to delete that workOrder in all BizzStream document types.

Is this possible? Is there something like "deleteByExternalId'? If not:: can you provide us with one?

Set overview grid column width and determine mobile visiblity

Peter van Meijel 2 years ago • updated 2 years ago 4

As an administrator, I would lie to set the width of a column and determine whether a column should be displayed on mobile devices.

Layout Editor

To do this, we need to update the layout editor for overview grids. When the user clicks on the column, he sees a pencil icon. When clicking on this icon, the column properties are shown:

Here the user can determine 3 settings:

  • The field width (in px)
  • Whether the field is hidden on phones
  • Whether the field is hidden on tablets

Overview

When rendering the overview, these settings should be respected.

Improve the usability of the overview (document and application) filters

Gabry Vlot 2 years ago • updated by Peter van Meijel 2 years ago 4

As an user I would like that

1 The state of the filter pane (Collapsed / expanded) will be stored.

Currently it is only possible to configure the initial state of the filterpanel (this is a layout setting). This isn't good enough, consider the following situation:

In a document overview two filters have being set :

Image 1

We will leave the page and enter the document overview again. We will find the filter pane collapsed :

Image 2

After re-entering the page, we would like to see the situation displayed by image 1. `the state of the filter pane must be exactly the same as the last time we saw it. Most of the time we would like to see the filters applies (related to : http://support.bizzstream.com/topics/615-showing-when-filters-are-active/#comment-1133)

Proposed approach: save filter pane state as a property of the contents of the applied filter (SATWO-1433)

2 I'm able to reset my userdefined filter

Currently the filters are being saved to the database. Unfortunately there isn't a way to reset the values of a particular filter.

For instance when I've applied two filter conditions I'm not able to reset these values by one simple click. The only workaround available : set all operators of the applied fields to "select".

Proposed approach : Add a reset button to the filter pane

Add additonal check when deleting a DD

Peter van Meijel 2 years ago • updated by pvdlageweg 2 years ago 3

As an administrator, I would like to double check that I want to delete a DD so that accidental removals are prevented.
